What is Fool"s Platinum?

Ever learn a really valuable little nugget of knowledge, and think to yourself, "That's Gold!"? Well, that happens to me a lot - except I often find out later that the "knowledge" is untrue, embellished, or worse - boring. That kind of information is fool's gold. And this blog? Well, I'll post the kind of information that I believe is even more valuable and important than gold, i..e. platinum knowledge - but you'd be a fool to trust me. The accuracy of this blog will fall somewhere between guy-on-the-corner and wikipedia. I'm going to try to keep this from becoming a sports blog, even though most of my opinions are about sports, because I want to keep some of the female readers in my family. So I'll do my best to keep the sports postings to 50% or less. I hope you enjoy reading, because it will be excruciatingly painful to write.
